David is the eldest son of Grant and Dorothy Sloss who pastored Markham EMC. He is married to the former Marian McDowell whose family attended MEMC for many years. They have four adult children and fifteen grandchildren. David was a secular educator in Mathematics and Computer Science and after retiring in 2000, did many short term missions trips teaching in many different countries. Most recently David has been in Uganda. They reside in Meaford, ON and are enjoying the opportunities which God provides to teach and encourage those of the faith.
